Over four fun-filled weeks, girls will have the opportunity to learn new footy skills, stay active, and be part of a welcoming team environment designed just for them.
No matter their experience level, participants will take part in engaging games and activities tailored to their age and ability, with a focus on building confidence, making friends, and having fun along the way.
Footy is more fun with friends.
That's why this program has been designed to help girls make connections, build confidence, and discover a love for the game in a fun and welcoming environment. Whether you're completely new to footy or already love being active, you'll learn new skills, create great memories, and be part of a team where every girl feels supported, included, and empowered to give it a go.
Because when girls feel they belong, amazing things happen!
What you can expect
The program is non-contact, inclusive and supported by dedicated Women & Girls staff, creating an environment where every girl feels comfortable giving footy a go.
Families will receive important program information before the first session, and participants will receive their program pack before or at the beginning of the program.
For many girls, this is just the beginning of their AFL journey, with opportunities to continue playing through Auskick, Superkick and local community football pathways!
