AFL Nines is the version of footy that fits into real life. It’s fast-paced, action-packed and played once a week, with no tackling, no training, no pressure and no full weekends.
Nines is for ages 13+ with multiple divisions available, it's a social, fast, and flexible version of the game you love!
Registrations are now open for the 2025 AFL Nines Hobart Spring Competition, and this season we’re introducing a new payment system:
- No upfront Team Commitment Fee via PlayHQ
- Teams simply pay a Weekly Game Fee of $110 through the TeamPay App
- Captains and players will receive full setup details for TeamPay 1–2 weeks before the comp kicks off
With this simpler system, we’re expecting venues to fill quickly – so get your team organised and registered early!
