AFL iD

What is AFL iD?

AFL iD is a new way the AFL is looking to help fans use one login across a range of digital products.

Footy fans and participants can connect key digital services for a seamless experience.

What are the benefits?

Whether you are a player, coach, umpire or parent, AFL iD enables a single sign on across Play.AFL and other digital services.

One login means less effort remembering passwords and more time playing, watching or officiating Australian Rules football.

You will need to create or use an existing AFL iD in order to register for the 2025 season as a coach. It will also be the method to sign in and complete your annual learning requirements.

If you have coached in past seasons, we will have you link to your past AFL Learn account during your first login.

If you're a past coach and need to access your history, please contact coaching@afl.com.au.

You will need to create or use an existing AFL iD in order to register for the 2025 season as a community umpire. It will also be the method to sign in and complete your annual learning requirements.

If you have umpired in past seasons, we will automatically match your previous account if you have used the same email for AFL iD.

If you're a past umpire and need to access your history, please contact umpire.afl@afl.com.au.

If you are a current Umpire and Coach, we recommend first setting up your AFL iD then linking your account in OfficialsHQ. Once you have completed your Umpire Learning, you should then go to AFL Learn to complete your Coaching Accreditation.

Should you change your mobile number over time, you can login to the AFL iD Profile Manager, and update this in Account Details.
