NATIONAL SIT DOWN ROUND

National Sit Down Round is a nationwide initiative that brings the football community together to promote positive leadership, respect and a better match-day experience for everyone.

From 1-2 August, coaches across Australia will be encouraged to remain seated for the duration of their game, demonstrating the powerful role they play in shaping the environment around community football.

At its heart, National Sit Down Round is about leading differently. By choosing to sit, coaches demonstrate trust in their players, respect for umpires and appreciation for the volunteers who help make local football possible. It is a visible reminder that leadership isn't always about directing every moment from the boundary, sometimes it's about empowering others, setting a positive example and helping create an environment where everyone can thrive.
