The Under 8 Girls competition provides girls transitioning from NAB AFL Auskick with a tackle-free introduction to community football, addressing the previous need for young girls to choose between a mixed under 8 competition or modified tackling in under 9 girls.
This initiative marks a significant step forward for girls’ football in Southeast Queensland and reflects the growth we’ve experienced in recent years.
