Women and Girls Come and Try Umpiring School Holiday Camp

AFL Queensland are hosting girls-only Come & Try umpiring events at local clubs around South East Queensland and Northern Rivers during the June/July school holidays in conjunction with the All Girls Auskick and Superkick school holiday camps.

Those attending will receive both theory and practical learning opportunities in field, boundary and goal umpiring from experienced TPIL Lawyers QAFL, Bond University QAFLW, Smithy's VFL and Toyota AFL Umpires. Participants will hear from guest speakers about their experiences, and make new lifelong friends. 

All attendees will be supplied with a whistle. AFLQ will also be supplying morning tea and lunch to all participants.

Attendees should bring a drink bottle, sunscreen and clothes/runners that they are comfortable moving around in.

Maroochydore AFL Club: 10th July, 9am - 3pm

Byron Bay AFL Club: 10th July, 9am - 3pm

Broadbeach Cats AFL Club: 11th July, 9am - 3pm
