The 2024/25 TIO NTFL Men’s and Women’s Premier League Grand Finals are now locked in.

St Mary’s, after defeating PINT by 25 points in the second Semi Final, will clash with the Nightcliff Tigers in the Women’s Premier League Grand Final. The season finale for the Women will take on Saturday March 15 at 4:15pm at TIO Stadium

St Mary's is just four quarters away from the redemption they've waited 12 months for. To avoid another crushing disappointment, all eyes will be on their experienced campaigners, including Janet Baird and Billie Byers. Emily Forshaw’s forward craft, paired with Paula Pavic’s versatility to play almost any position, will remain key to the Saints’ premiership aspirations. However, the impact of St Mary's rising stars—Shakaila Gardiner-Dunn, Bonny McKean, and Amelia Martin—cannot be underestimated.

On the other side, the Tigers are on the brink of their first Women’s Premiership. Following one of the most memorable preliminary finals in recent memory, Nightcliff's confidence is sky-high. Sally Evans’ tireless effort cannot be overlooked, while Christy Landwehrcontinues to assert her presence on the field. The way Fleur Davies impacts the Grand Final will be a storyline to watch closely, particularly in terms of who from St Mary's will be tasked with limiting her influence. Tshinta Kendall’s ability to pounce on ground balls makes her a dangerous goal sneak, while Hannah Turnbull’s leadership will be crucial in guiding the Tigers through the big moment.

Southern Districts Crocs and St Mary’s will clash in must watch action will battle at 6:45pm on TIO Stadium on Saturday March 15

All season long, the Crocs have appeared to be the inevitable Premiership winners, but now they must prove they truly deserve to claim the flag. With the dominant ruck duo of Matthew Dennis and Wyatt Ryan, along with one of the competition’s top midfielders in Jed Anderson, the Crocs will need another stellar performance from Anderson to secure the title. However, the support of players like Steven Motlop, Matthew Johnston, and Matt Shannon could be just what the Crocs need to bring the cup back to Norbuilt Oval.

On the other hand, St Mary’s is aiming for back-to-back premierships. Jack Landt has been in outstanding form recently and has emerged as a genuine headache for defences, capable of kicking multiple goals in quick succession. Leading goal scorer Jackson Calder will be a key player to watch—his impact may be minimized if he faces a double team. Connor West and Dylan Landt will look to set the tone in the midfield against the Crocs, but it’s possible that one of the standout performers of the finals series, Kieren Parnell, could be named the latest TIO Chaney Best on Ground Medallist if he continues his exceptional form in the Grand Final.

All other divisions will have their fixtures uploaded to the PlayHQ Website after the completion of Finals Week Three.
