On the eve of the 2025 QAFLW Premiership Season, AFL Queensland is thrilled to announce the extension of its partnership with Bond University, now entering its ninth year.
As part of the renewed agreement, Bond University will continue as the naming rights partner of the QAFLW.
Since first partnering with AFL Queensland in 2017, the Bond University name has become synonymous with women’s football in Queensland.
The QAFLW stands as one of the country’s premier women’s football leagues, known for developing future AFLW stars.

"With more women and girls participating in the sport than ever before, this partnership is vital for the continued success of the QAFLW and its players, coaches, officials and clubs alike. But also, for all of the young girls playing football in Queensland to aspire to play at the highest state level."
Bond University Director of Sport, Michael Collins, said the partnership reflects Bond’s dedication to supporting women’s sport and fostering elite talent.

“Over the 9 years of our involvement the QAFLW has become a flag bearer for women’s sport in Queensland and the competition has grown into one of the strongest leagues in the country, providing a crucial pathway for aspiring AFLW players.
