The Cazalys NT Talent Academy is excited to announce its first squad ahead of the 2026 campaign, showcasing some of the Northern Territory’s brightest young football prospects as they build toward their draft year.
Headlining the Under-18 Boys squad is Hugo Timms from PINT in Darwin, who joins the program after claiming the prestigious 2025 Under-16 Boys NT MVP award, a testament to his commanding presence on the field. Equally impressive is Mackiah Jones from Pioneer in Alice Springs, who earned recognition as the 2025 TIO CAFL Rising Star.
Reinforcing this core group is a strong contingent of players who have already made their mark during the 2024/25 TIO NTFL season, earning NT News Rising Star nominations. This list includes Calvin Peris-Chong, Frances Tipungwuti, Deacon Summerville, Zac Withers, Sonny Smiler, Nathaniel Lampton, Edward Darcy, and Hau-Tze Rock.
The squad also features Ian Thomson, Tyler Kelly and Kevin Gurrawara hailing from remote and regional centres right across the Northern Territory.
