The 2026 season will mark an exciting evolution in how Hunter Central Coast football is delivered to fans, with AFL Hunter Central Coast announcing a new broadcast partnership with Shane Darwin and his company, The Seen Production Co.

Following a long-standing collaboration with BarTV, the league is proud to introduce a fresh approach to match coverage, with weekly Black Diamond Men’s and Women’s Cup fixtures set to be streamed live and free via the AFL Hunter Central Coast YouTube channel.

This new partnership represents another significant step forward for football in the region, improving accessibility for players, supporters, and the broader community. By removing barriers and expanding digital reach, more fans than ever will be able to stay connected to the game—whether they’re at home or on the go.

AFL Hunter Central Coast Competition Manager Emily said the move reflects the league’s continued commitment to growth and innovation. “The introduction of streaming via YouTube is a major milestone for our competition. It ensures our players, clubs, and supporters receive the exposure they deserve, while also creating new opportunities to showcase the strength of football across the Hunter Central Coast region. We’re excited to partner with Shane and The Seen Production Co to take our broadcast offering to the next level in 2026.”

Shane Darwin, Director of The Seen Production Co, also welcomed the partnership and the opportunity to build on the league’s strong foundation. “The Seen Production Co is excited to be partnering with AFL Hunter Central Coast for the 2026 season. With the league cementing itself as one of the premier competitions in the state, our coverage will continue to grow with a new platform and enhanced features, including replays and pre-recorded content. This will ensure fans at home can catch all the action from both on and off the field.”

Importantly, the transition to The Seen Production Co will not impact the league’s well-known and highly regarded commentary team. Ashley Borg, Shane Darwin, Corey Hopper, Oliver Croft, and a range of special guests will all return in 2026, ensuring the same familiar voices and high-quality insights continue to accompany each broadcast.

Further details, including the full list of 2026 broadcast matches and dates will be announced over the coming weeks. If you want to join as a featured guest on the footy show or podcast please email – emily.brown@afl.com.au
