AFL Northern Territory (AFLNT) today unveils the first players selected for the NTFL All Star Saturday squads, with the Heat and Spears revealing an exciting mix of elite, experienced, and emerging talent ahead of the representative showcase. 
 
The initial announcement features 20 players across the men’s and women’s competition, drawn from clubs right across the TIO NTFL, and provides the first glimpse of the quality set to take centre stage at TIO Stadium. 
 
The Spears selections highlight players who have made an immediate impact after joining the TIO NTFL from interstate, while the Heat selections reflect strong Territory ties and long-standing connections to NT football. With both teams again being supported by long-term representative partner Cazalys Palmerston Club.  
 
Among the first names for the Spears are Connor West (St Mary’s)James Rowe (PINT)Lucas Edmonds (Palmerston), Jack Steele (Tiwi Bombers) and Shay Linke (Nightcliff), alongside standout women’s selections Fleur Davies (Nightcliff), Maddi Shaw (Southern Districts), Jasmine Ware (Nightcliff), Nakeesha Miniter (St Mary’s) and Kayla Mudge (Palmerston). 
 
The Heat selections feature some of the NTFL’s most recognisable Territory-connected players, including Willie Rioli (Tiwi Bombers), Jarrod Stokes and Bradley Stokes (Darwin Buffaloes), Matt Bricknell (Banks) and Leonard Ferreira (Jabiru Bombers). The women’s selections include Molly Althouse and Jenara Grant (Darwin Buffaloes), Athurina Moreen (Tiwi Bombers), and Nightcliff duo Lekaiya Rabbitt and Gracie Roy.
