The Northern Territory Football League (NTFL) is excited to announce the Women’s Representative squad set to compete against the Central Australian Football League at TIO Traeger Park on Saturday, April 5 2025 presented by Cazalys Palmerston Club.
The squad features three standout players from St Mary’s, fresh off their victory in the 2024/25 TIO NTFL Women’s Premier League Grand Final: Janet Baird, Georgia Marsland and Shakaila Gardiner-Dunn, who was named Best on Ground in the 2024/25 TIO NTFL Grand Final and the 2024/25 NT News Rising Star.
Also joining the squad is Jasmyn Hewett, the newly crowned three-time Women’s Premier League TIO NTFL Best and Fairest, who will take the field as a player-coach. Two-time TIO NTFL Women’s Best and Fairest from the Darwin Buffaloes, Molly Althouse, also makes the squad, along with key Palmerston young guns Tatyana Perry, Taelah Smith, and Marika Carlton.
The Squad also boasts some heavy goal kicking prowess with the 2023/24 TIO NTFL Leading Goal Kicker in Steph Lawrence from PINT and the 2024/25 TIO NTFL Leading Goal Kicker in Cassie McWilliam from the Nightcliff Tigers.
The squad has already begun preparations for the upcoming clash.
