AFL Queensland has partnered once again with McDonalds for the annual Ronald McDonald House Charity Round across the South East Queensland Junior and Youth competition. For the first time the annual charity round will coincide with the Junior Carnival round, providing further opportunities for clubs to fundraise.
The Ronald McDonald House Charities South East Queensland (SEQ) accommodate for up to 144 families every night and rely on the generous support of the community to assist them in making the families stay as comfortable as possible, as ‘a home away from home’.
The round will take place over 18th – 20th of July and provides clubs with an opportunity to help support the incredible work Ronald McDonald House Charities SEQ do to support families of seriously ill and injured children. Players, coaches & volunteers are encouraged to wear their Maccas® Silly Socks and use their creativity to get involved with the initiative and help fundraise for RMHC SEQ.
AFL Queensland’s goal is to raise $15,000 in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities across the round.

How can your club get involved?
Silly Socks!
Teams are encouraged to wear Maccas® Silly Socks or wear their own silly socks (provided the whole team are wearing the same socks) and make a donation to the fundraising page below. Reach out to your club’s committee to purchase Maccas Silly Socks.
