WOMEN'S UNDER 20:

In Women's Under 20s action, Sydney University (2) defeated North Shore by 44 points at Gore Hill Oval, Parramatta received a forfeit from South West Sydney, Sydney University (1) accounted for UTS by 22 points at Waverley Oval, and Manly Warringah defeated Pennant Hills by 42 points at Mike Kenny Bottom Oval. UNSW-ES had the Bye.
 

WOMEN'S DIVISION ONE:

In Women's Division One action, North Shore thumped East Coast Eagles by 58 points at Gore Hill Oval, UTS received a forfeit from South West Sydney Blues, Sydney University defeated newcomers Randwick City by 17 points at Pioneers Park, and Manly Warringah thrashed Southern Power by 85 points at Weldon Oval.


WOMEN'S PREMIER DIVISION:

Reigning premiers North Shore defeated East Coast Eagles by 47 points at Gore Hill Oval, despite poor shooting from the Bombers. Final scores for North Shore 7.18.60 to East Coast Eagles 2.1.13.

After a tight first quarter, North Shore keep to why in the second quarter to late by 20 points at the main break. This was an extremely comfortable victory for the Bombers, with the 25 scoring shots to three highlighting how dominant they truly were. Goal kicking will be on the cards at training this week as the Bombers face an enormous clash this Saturday against UNSW-ES at Henson Park.

Co-captain Matilda Eder kicked three goals for North Shore.

North Shore’s best players were Lucy Yates, Elizabeth Yates, Eder, Zoe Hurrell, Ella Daniel, and Emma Ferrante. East Coast Eagles were best served by Nellie McMillan, Jess Whelan, Alexandra Huynh, Bailee Hourigan, Renee Tomkins, and Imogen Gray.

In a tough game at Waverley Oval, a second quarter avalanche from Sydney University combined with the superb defensive performance led to the students defeating UTS by 21 points. Final scores were Sydney University 4.10.34 to UTS 2.1.13.

In a game that featured excellent tackling, great contests for the ball add dominant back lines, Sydney university won the game in the second quarter, where they kicked all of their 4 goals in a hectic 15-minute period. The Students will also be practicing goal kicking this week after managing only four goals from 14 effective shots at goal.

Sophie Andreacchio kicked two goals for Sydney University, waltz Gemma Casiglia kicked UTS is only two majors.

Sydney University’s best players were Ashley Dribbus, Andreacchio, Mostyn Medallists Maryanne Harley and Amanda Farrugia, Emma Juneja and Lily Race. UTS was best served by Tallulah Kirk (whose tackling was simply outstanding), Olivia Morris, Marnie Robinson, Hannah Cerezo, Siena Visentini and Taylah Canobie.

Manly Warringah kept Pennant Hills scoreless in producing a 129-point thumping at Mike Kenny Oval. Final scores were Manly Warringah 19.15.129 to Pennant Hills 0.0.0.

The Wolves raced out to a 34-point lead at quarter time and will be pleased that they produced 4 consistent quarters against the developing Pennant Hills squad.

Small forward Isabella Rudolph kicked 6 goals for the Wolves, with Bella Clarke chipping in with 4 majors of her own.

Manly Warringah’s best players were Clarke, Andrea Roditis, Rudolph, Holly Wickham, Lauren Bull, and Roxi Beuzeville. Pennant Hills was best served by Remy Ally, Caitlin Gurney, Ashleigh Grubba, Amelia Bennett, Christine Abrams, and Danielle Keller.

UNSW-ES raced to an extremely comfortable 69-point victory over St George at Kelso Park North. Final scores were UNSW-ES 10.15.75 to St George 1.0.6.

Such was the Bulldogs defensive dominance in this match that the Dragons only scored once in the entire game. UNSW-ES led by 43 points at the main break and continued their impressive start to the 2026 season in the second half. 

The Bulldogs have a huge game against 2025 premiers North Shore at Henson Park this Saturday in an early contender for match of the season.

Tyler Smith and Rebecca Privitelli kicked three goals each for the Bulldogs.

UNSW-ES’ best players were Shelby Koh, Georgia Voura, Privitelli, Bec Newman, Smith and Hayley Stanford. St George was best served by Jasmine Baily, Charlotte Bulmer, Ashleigh Lestrange, Delaney Gwynn, Ruby O’Dwyer, and Kaitlyn Eisenhuth.
 

MEN'S UNDER 19.5 DIVISION ONE:

In Men's Under 19.5 Division One action, Sydney University hammered UTS Bats by 76 points at Waverley Oval, South West Sydney defeated Inner West Magpies by 27 points at Bob Prenter Reserve, UNSW-ES thrashed St George by 86 points at Kelso Park North, North Shore romped to a 99-point victory over East Coast Eagles at Gore Hill Oval and Manly Warringah comfortably accounted for Pennant Hills by 39 points at Mike Kenny Oval.
 

MEN'S DIVISION ONE:

In Men's Division One action, St George comfortably accounted for UNSW-ES by 52 points at Kelso Park North, Parramatta ground out a 23-point victory over South West Sydney at Bob Prenter Reserve, Pennant Hills defeated Manly Warringah by 33 points at Mike Kenny Oval and North Shore produced a superb defensive performance in defeating Camden by 39 points at Gore Hill Oval. Sydney University had the Bye.

 

MEN'S PREMIER DIVISION:

A huge third quarter from Pennant Hills was the catalyst for the Demons best performance in 2 seasons, as they upset Manly Warringah with a convincing 26-point victory at a raucous Mike Kenny Oval. Final scores were Pennant Hills 10.10.70 to Manly Warringah 6.8.44.

After a close first half, the Demons led by a solitary point at the main break. The Demons then kicked 6.1 to 0.2 in the third quarter to lead by 36 points at the final break. Despite the Wolves kicking 3 goals to 1 in the final quarter, the Demons held firm for a huge win to kickstart their season.

In a match-defining performance, Nick Hey kicked 5 goals for Pennant Hills. Darcy Carnahan chipped in with 2 majors for the Demons. Representative star Zac Youlten kicked 3 goals for the Wolves.

Pennant Hills best players were Hey, Cooper Lee, Andrew Murdoch, Henry Williams, Phelan Medallist Stephen Wray, and Cameron Mitchell. Manly Warringah was best served by Lachlan Behagg, Kyle Martin, Ky Mcgrath, Taj Livingston, Lachlan Kilpatrick, and Antony Forato.

UNSW-ES produced 4 consistent quarters in thrashing St George by 90 points at Kelso Park North. Final scores were UNSW-ES 20.16.136 to St George 7.4.46.

After an entertaining 10-goal first quarter, the Bulldogs kicked away in the second quarter to lead by 7 goals at the main break. UNSW-ES kicked 9 goals to 2 in a convincing second half performance as they prepare for the might of North Shore on Saturday at Henson Park.

Charlie Burgess-Hoar kicked 5 goals for the Bulldogs, with Jake Sutton adding 4 majors and Archer Dunstan chiming in with 3 goals of his own for UNSW-ES. Hunter Pickett kicked 3 goals for the Dragons, and Cave McKnight chipped in with 2 majors for St George.

UNSW-ES’ best players were rover William Spencer, Ben Scala, Burgess-Hoar, Byron Middleton, James Kambas and Sutton. St George was best served by William Mazor, Nelson Carey, McKnight, Jack Logan, Jack Druery, and Jeremy Woods.

A ruthless North Shore dominated East Coast Eagles across 4 simply dominant quarters, eventually careering away to an astonishing 153-point victory at Gore Hill Oval. Final scores were North Shore 27.24.186 to East Coast Eagles 5.3.33.

When North Shore decide the time is right, they are unstoppable. 13 goals in the first half and 14 in the second half highlights a consistent, scary performance ahead of a monster away clash with UNSW-ES at Henson Park this Saturday.

Jackson Nelson kicked 7 goals for the Bombers, Matt Buskariol kicked 5 and Felix Rogers chimed in with 3 majors as North Shore simply ran riot. Thomas Black kicked 2 goals for the outgunned Eagles outfit.

North Shore’s best players were Rogers, Buskariol, Nicholas Pavlou, Thomas Hitchens, Jake Veale, and Finn Chalmers. East Coast Eagles were best served by their best footballer, Jacob Jones, Black, Liam Dowle, Angus Edwards, Connor Ballingall, and Liam Sankey.

In a terrific game of football at Waverley Oval, a 6-goal fourth quarter led to UTS defeating Sydney University by 41 points. Final scores were UTS 17.6.108 to Sydney University 10.7.67.

UTS led at every change in a convincing performance, and a highlight was their excellent conversion rate, kicking 13.2 after quarter time on a glorious day at Bondi Junction.

Sydney University came back hard in the back end of the first three quarters, and got to within 3 goals of UTS in the final term when UTS kicked a rare “double goal”, after a free kick was awarded straight after UTS kicked a goal from Ed Palmer, with Blake Tabe taking the resultant free kick from inside the goal square to finally put the game away for the Bats.

Palmer and fellow forward Ben Lenarduzzi kicked 4 goals each for UTS, with Josh Lee and Ryan Lymn chipping with 2 goals each for the Bats. Rory Barkley and Kai Offen kicked 2 goals each for Sydney University.

UTS’ best players were the simply outstanding fullback Lewis McCormack, Lee, Louis Pribula, John Boylan, James Warton, and Lachlan McNamara. Sydney University was best served by Jack Lewsey, Marcus Valastro, Arlo Merewether, Connor Kent, Rory Barkley, and Sam Barkley.

South West Sydney continued their impressive start to the season with a solid 32-point victory over Inner West Magpies at Bob Prenter Reserve. Final scores were South West Sydney 16.7.103 to Inner West Magpies 11.5.71.

After a tight first quarter, the Blues jumped away in the second quarter, kicking 6 goals to 1 to establish a match-winning 35-point lead at the main break. Inne West Magpies fought hard in the third term to trail by 24 points at the final break, but the Blues steadied in the fourth quarter to produce their second, convincing home win to start the season.

Jerome Lawrence, released from backline duties, kicked 5 goals for the Blues. Key forwards Nick Dunshea (4 goals) and Eddie Keogh (3 goals) proved too much for the gallant Magpies defence. Veteran full-forward Ben Zoppo kicked 4 goals for the Magpies, with key midfielder Lachlan Tiziani chipping in with 2 majors for Inner West.

The Blues’ best players were Dunshea, Thye Hamilton, Coby Hilton, Keogh, Lawrence, and Uchenna Egbu. The Magpies were best served by Max Fasolo, Bililign Robertson, Finnegan Ritchie, Jonty Inglis, Tiziani, William Sabolch.
