Pennant Hills’ best players were the brilliant Stern, Cameron Este, Xavier Russell, Aidan Russell, Hey, and Irwin. St George was best served by Lucas Flower, Nathaniel Mckenzie-Hicks, Roman Pickett, Nash, Liam Taylor, and stalwart Nelson Carey.

In a highly entertaining fixture at Weldon Oval, Manly Warringah defeated UTS by 47 points. Finals scores were Manly Warringah 20.8.128 to UTS 12.9.81.

The Wolves led by 23 points at the main break, then the two teams put on an attacking clinic in the second half, kicked 20 goals between them in an outstanding display of open, offensive-minded football on a warm Curl Curl afternoon. The Wolves, still aspiring a Top 3 finish, head to Henson Park next week confident of a victory over UNSW-ES. UTS has a crucial clash with South West Sydney at Waverley Obal, having to win to keep pace with the Top 5.

The Bombers leapt into first place on the ladder ahead of their monster 1 v 2 clash away to Pennant Hills next Saturday.

Without late withdrawal, skipper Jake Veale and key forward Matt Buskariol, the Bombers midfield were too much for the Blues across the first 3 quarters, with the Blues also missing key players Jerome Lawrence (debut for GWS’ VFL side), Max Lower, Eddie Keogh, and Nic Dunshea.

The Bombers dynamic backline launched many raids on the huge expanses of Bob Prenter Reserve, and despite taking the foot slightly of the pedal in the fourth quarter, North Shore showed they are back to something like their best with a solid and professional display.

Late inclusion Max Thomas led all goalkickers with 3 goals for North Shore. Cooper Donald and Max Proud chimed in with 2 majors each for the Bombers. Despite limited opportunities, mobile forward Bailey-Dean Latanis kicked 2 goals for South West Sydney.
