Statement: 2025/26 TIO NTFL Round 13 Women’s Premier League

AFLNT has been informed by the Tiwi Bombers that the club will forfeit its 2025/26 TIO NTFL Women’s Premier League match scheduled for Saturday, 3 January 2026, against St Mary’s Women’s Premier League at TIO Stadium. 
 
The decision follows a range of logistical challenges. As a result, the Round 13 Women’s Premier League match will not proceed as scheduled. 
 
Lindsay Whiting, President of the Tiwi Bombers Football Club, said “We know how much football means to our players and community, and this decision wasn’t made lightly. Significant logistical challenges meant we weren’t able to participate in this fixture. Our sincere apologies to AFLNT, St Mary’s, and both teams’ supporters, and we’ll continue working through these challenges moving forward.”
