Following the postponement of three TPIL Lawyers QAFL matches during Round 1, as per the AFLQ Community Competition Rules and Procedures, clubs had a two-week period to work together on trying to find options to reschedule the matches.

With that period now passed, following consultation with AFLQ and taking into consideration all of the surrounding factors for each fixture, we provide the following confirmation on the matches.

LABRADOR v BROADBEACH - Matches (Senior, Reserves, Colts) to be rescheduled to Saturday 5 July being a Competition BYE weekend.
MORNINGSIDE v REDLAND-VICTORIA POINT - No suitable alternative to reschedule.  Matches (Senior, Reserves, Colts) drawn and points shared.
COORPAROO v PALM BEACH CURRUMBIN - No suitable alternative to reschedule.  Matches (Senior, Reserves, Colts) drawn and points shared.

Whilst AFLQ’s position is and will always be to make every attempt for cancelled matches to be rescheduled and played for competition points, no suitable alternative arrangements could be agreed upon for the two abandoned fixtures.

The ladders will be adjusted for those matches not rescheduled and we look forward to the standalone fixture in July.
