AFL Riverina is pleased to announce that McDonalds have agreed to become a partner organisation, specifically supporting all Female, Junior, Senior Football competitions.
McDonalds have a large footprint in the Riverina with a new store now open at a Booroma site and have a long history committed to supporting local sporting organisations. McDonalds franchisee Tony Aichinger felt that AFL Riverina competitions aligned perfectly with the organisations vision “The Aichinger Group together with Maccas has had a long relationship with many codes in the Wagga Wagga, none more so than AFL Riverina. Luita, Blake and I are always looking for ways to give back to the community that has supported us over many years. We are pleased to be able to sponsor AFL Riverina Boys and girls, and seniors and juniors. It gives us great pleasure seeing the sporting codes in Wagga Wagga displaying our logos which highlights and recognises our commitment to the community. The $200K that we have committed to over coming years adds to the many millions we have and will continue to inject into the community of Wagga Wagga. I think our local community know by now at Maccas and The Aichinger Group we play The Long Game!”
