Established in 1969, AFL South Coast oversees community football across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven, supporting a proud and growing local footy landscape.
We manage three competitions - AFL South Coast Seniors, AFL Shoalhaven Juniors and AFL Illawarra Juniors - with the Under-15s and Under-17s grades now united under the AFL South Coast Juniors banner.
Our work is supported by AFL NSW/ACT staff across competitions, coaching, umpiring, game development and club support, helping ensure a strong pathway for players, coaches, umpires and volunteers.
Clubs across the region stretch from Woonona to Ulladulla, reflecting a diverse and passionate community built on decades of local football.
AFL South Coast operates from the Sportshub at the University of Wollongong, where staff can be contacted to arrange meetings or support.
