The GIANTS’ AFLW stars are heading back to Canberra on June 26-27 to engage with the local footy community and inspire the next generation of female AFL talent.
As excitement builds for two upcoming blockbuster games at Corroboree Group Oval Manuka, the GIANTS are thrilled to spend quality time with their passionate Canberra fans.
Highlighting this year’s camp is a series of community events on Thursday, June 26, kicking off at EPC Solar Park in Phillip.
From 5:30 pm, the GIANTS will host a Women's Leadership Event, empowering local leaders through insights and discussions on and off the field.
Simultaneously, aspiring female umpires can join the "Girls In Green" umpiring session, learning directly from experienced officials and AFLW role models.
Across Canberra, AFL Canberra clubs including Ainslie, Belconnen, Eastlake, Gungahlin, Queanbeyan, Tuggeranong, and Weston Creek will welcome GIANTS players to their female team training sessions.
The action continues Friday, June 27, as GIANTS players connect with hundreds of students across 16 Canberra schools through engaging assemblies and interactive footy clinics.
