As AFL staff celebrate the inaugural AFL Pride Day, AFL Queensland is proud to launch the 2026 Jarah Corporate Pride Challenge, a new club-based initiative that will run across the Jarah Corporate Pride Round from July 17 to July 26, 2026.
The Jarah Corporate Pride Challenge encourages clubs to play for more than pride, rewarding those who lead the way in on-field participation, visible Pride engagement and LGBTQIA+ inclusion education.
Clubs that opt in will compete for a $2,000 Club Development Grant, to be used toward initiatives that support LGBTQIA+ inclusion, education, and visibility at club level.
The initiative has been designed to encourage whole-of-club participation, increase the visibility of the Jarah Corporate Pride Round across Queensland, and support community football clubs to build safer and more inclusive environments for players, coaches, umpires, volunteers and supporters.
