The Queensland Australian rules football community will come together to recognise Anzac Day at venues across the state this Saturday April 25.
Clubs will honour all who have served by wearing commemorative ANZAC jumpers or holding pre-game services conducted by local RSL members.
Head of AFL Queensland Richie Lyons encouraged the Queensland Australian rules football community to take the time to honour the ANZAC spirit this Saturday.
"Across Queensland, hundreds of Australian rules football games will take place on Anzac Day with venues honouring all who have served," he said.
"On behalf of AFL Queensland, I thank all previous and current members of the Australian Defence Force who participate in our game, across playing, coaching, umpiring and volunteering."
Below is a summary of Anzac Day proceedings at Queensland Australian rules football grounds:
Springfield
The men's and women's Australian Defence Force (ADF) Lions will play Queensland Fire and Rescue (QFR) Bears in the Anzac Day AFL Cup.
