AFL Queensland are proud to reveal the fixtures for TPIL QFAW Division 2 Central, South and North competitions in 2026.

TPIL QFAW Division 2 Central

TPIL Lawyers QFAW Division 2 Central kicks off on Saturday 2 May and runs for 14 rounds across 17 weeks, culminating in the Grand Final on Saturday 12 September. 

Following the elevation of 2025 Premiership winners, Mount Gravatt, to Division 1, the door is wide open for a new team to be crowned this year. 

“Two of the five clubs who made finals in 2025 have been elevated to TPIL QFAW Division 1 for this year, so it will be exciting to see where each club lands on the 2026 ladder,” said Em George, Competition Manager – QFA & QFAW South. 

Central Fixture

Key information of the TPIL QFAW Division 2 Central Competition:

•    8 teams – Alexandra Hills, Beenleigh, Ipswich, Jimboomba, Jindalee, Moorooka, Sherwood 2, Sherwood 3 
•    2 x 2025 teams elevated to Division 1 in 2026 (Mount Gravatt & Redland-Victoria Point)
•    14 games played across 17 weeks 
•    3 x Competition-wide byes (30 May, 11 July, 22 August) 
•    Top 4 Finals series over 3 weeks (start 29 August) 
•    Grand Final Saturday 12 September 

TPIL QFAW Division 2 South  

Nine clubs will compete in the 2026 TPIL Division 2 South competition, beginning Round 1 on Saturday 25 April and ending with the Grand Final on Sunday 13 September. 

Coomera enters the division for the 2026 season, following Broadbeach’s elevation to Bond University QAFLW.

2025 Premiers, Tweed Coast, will match up against Runners Up, Coolangatta, in Round 4 at Beaumont Tiles Tweed Oval on Saturday 16 May.

South competition

Key information of the TPIL QFAW Division 2 South Competition: 

•    9 teams – Ballina, Byron Bay, Coolangatta, Coomera, Labrador, Ormeau, Pacific Pines, Robina, Tweed Coast
•    1 x new team for 2026 – Coomera
•    2 x non-returning teams from 2025 (Surfers Paradise only 1 team in 2026 in Div 1, Broadbeach elevated to QAFLW) 
•    14 games across 16 rounds played over 17 weeks 
•    1 x Competition-wide bye (11 July) 
•    Top 5 finals over 4 weeks (starts 22 August)
•    Grand Final Sunday 13 September 

TPIL Lawyers QFAW Division 2 North

TPIL QFAW Division 2 North will commence on ANZAC Day, April 25, with the season culminating in a Grand Final on September 5.  for the 2026 season. The competition has expanded to 10 teams with 14 games across 16 rounds. The Grand Final rematch between Pine Rivers and Caloundra will take place in Round 4. 

“It’s looking to be another exciting year in the TPIL QFAW Division 2 North, with an expanded 10 team competition, clubs have had a busy off-season bolstering their stocks to make a premiership push in 2026,” said Liam Blakely, Competition Manager QFA & QFAW North.
