Tackling doesn’t have to be a grey area. Too often, coaches either shy away from teaching it or focus only on effort and aggression. But good tackling is a skill — and like any skill, it can (and should) be taught with clarity, confidence, and care.
In this Coach Masterclass, we’ll break down the fundamentals of effective tackling, with a focus on safety, technique, and progressive development.
Coaches will learn practical activities to facilitate player learning in a safe and effective manner, improving both tackler technique, and the player receiving the tackle.
