AFL Tasmania has partnered with the Tasmania Devils to recognise schools that are championing footy as part of their culture, whether that's through the curriculum, lunchtime kick-to-kick, or program and competitions.
We’re recognising schools that are making AFL part of their learning journey and inspiring others to get involved too. From brand-new programs to long-time legends, there’s something for every school to gain.
As part of the AFL Schools Loyalty Program, Teachers at the same school can band together to climb the loyalty tier ladder and claim some awesome resources and experiences for their school, including:
- Awesome incentives, merchandise and tickets
- A visit from Rum’un – the Devils’ very own mascot!
- Bragging rights as a true footy school!
This initiative is part of a broader effort to empower teachers, inspire students, and make a meaningful impact in the classroom. By joining as an AFL Schools member, educators gain access to a free suite of curriculum-aligned resources that bring learning to life through sport.
Lesson plans are adaptable for different grades, skill levels, and diverse classroom settings, helping teachers create inclusive, engaging learning environments without adding to their workload.
