The teams have been named for Sunday's Senior Talent Academy double-header against Norwood, with Tasmania's finest set to take on the SANFL powerhouse at Kingston's Twin Ovals.
It kicks off a bumper year of representative footy in the state, with stars from all three regions joining forces for the first of five games apiece this year.
There will be a distinct Tasmanian flavour to Sunday's opposition too, with Norwood confirming that they will have ten players from the state in their men's squad and two in their women's squad.
North Launceston veteran Brad Cox-Goodyer will captain Tasmania's men's side once again, further adding to one of Tasmanian football's great resumes. The two-time Alastair Lynch Medallist and five-time premiership player starred in the state team's games against Queensland and Sydney/Canberra last year, and he will look to lead from the front once again in 2025.
Returning to the state after playing at the highest level, Sarah Skinner will lead the women's side as captain. The 25-year-old played for Sydney and the Western Bulldogs in the AFLW and then dominated the VFLW for the past two years, and after joining Devonport for the 2025 season, she will bring that experience to the state side.
