The AFL Unity Cup returns in 2025 - bigger, better, and more exciting than ever! This free, one-day event brings together young multicultural Victorians for a celebration of culture, connection and community through the game we all love.
Featuring AFL Nines, a fast, fun and inclusive version of footy, players will hit the field in a non-contact, nine-a-side format that’s easy to learn and perfect for all skill levels.
Date: Sunday 19 October
Location: Monash University, Clayton
- Format: AFL Nines
- Team Size: Minimum 12 players
- Divisions:
- Open Age: Men’s, Women’s and Mixed
- Youth (16–18 years): Divisions will be shaped by community interest (e.g. Under 16 Girls if demand exists)
- Cost: Free for all participants and teams
- A welcoming space to experience footy in a fun, inclusive way
- Free uniforms for new teams*
- Free food throughout the day
- Carnival atmosphere with music and activities
*Pending AFL Victoria approval.
