The AFL has announced the return of the AFLW Community Camp program ahead of the 2026 NAB AFLW Season, with all 18 teams set to head out to local communities across the country.

Clubs will pay a visit to regional communities across Victoria, including Wangaratta, Mansfield, Shepparton, Echuca, Cobram, Warrnambool, Inverloch, Bright, Bendigo, Warragul, Ballarat and Horsham.

Providing an opportunity for AFLW players to inspire the next generation and connect with women and girls in regional and remote communities, the Community Camp program involves visits to junior football clubs and schools where AFLW players take part in footy clinics and attend community events.

Reaching more than one million children since the program’s inception across the AFL and AFLW programs, more than 400 AFLW players are expected to take part in 2026.

Hawthorn, Melbourne and St Kilda will be the first teams to kick off their camps, visiting South Gippsland, Bright and Warragul respectively from 14 – 15 May before the rest of the clubs complete their visits across late May, June and early July.
