At the first WorkSafe Country Club Game of 2025 earlier this month, AFL Victoria was pleased to see Elmore Football Netball Club (FNC) local legend Geoff Pymer surprised with the news that he has been nominated for the WorkSafe Victoria Country Volunteer of the Year.

As part of hosting a Country Club Game, Elmore FNC was given the opportunity to nominate a club person for the award, with that person being surprised by WorkSafe on game day with a WorkSafe goody bag as recognition and thanks for their dedication to country footy over the years.
