We’re only days away from the Round 12 clash of the 2025 Toyota AFL Premiership Match between Melbourne and St Kilda! To ensure you have the best time, here is your guide to all the essentials for Sunday afternoon at TIO Traeger Park. 

 

Match Day Timings 

 

12:30pm - Speed Street Box Office Opens for Ticket Sales 

1:15pm - Public Gates Open (Gap Road North, Gap Road South & Speed Street) 

1:15pm - Corporate Gate Opens (Traeger Avenue) 

2:43pm - Welcome to Country Ceremony Commences 

2:50pm - Toyota AFL Premiership Match – Melbourne v St Kilda 

3:58pm - Half-time NAB AFL Auskick (approx.) 

5:28pm - Match Concludes (approx.)  

5:35pm - Maccas Kick2Kick! (after 2nd siren) 

 

Tickets 

To avoid queues and ensure a smooth entry into TIO Traeger Park, we recommend purchasing your tickets in advance via Ticketmaster. 

If you need to buy a ticket on game day, Speed Street Gate is the only location where tickets will be available for purchase. 

Tickets can also be purchased in advance from the AFL Northern Territory team at Yeperenye Shopping Centre Thursday, Friday & Saturday afternoon 2:30pm – 5:30pm; and Todd Mall Markets on Sunday, June 1, between 9:00am – 12:00pm.  

Please note that all patrons aged 3 and over will require a ticket for entry. 

Gates 

Please be aware that the Cricket Gate will not be in operation for this match. 

Entry via Gap Road North (Bag Free Entry) & Gap Road South is strictly for patrons with pre-purchased tickets. Tickets can be purchased from the ticket box located at the Speed Street Gate. We recommend checking your ticket type in advance and planning your entry accordingly. 

As part of the entry process, security bag checks & wanding will take place before your ticket is scanned. If you’re bringing a bag, we strongly advise arriving early to help avoid delays. To help streamline entry, we also encourage all fans to download their ticket in advance and have it ready for scanning upon arrival at the venue. 

Merchandise 

INTERSPORT will be at the game selling limited Melbourne and St Kilda merchandise. You’ll find them by the entry at the Speed Street Gate. Don’t miss your chance to grab exclusive game-day gear while stocks last! 

 

Smoking & Vaping 

 

TIO Traeger Park is strictly a no smoking and no vaping venue. If you wish to smoke or vape, please exit the venue but keep your ticket with you to be granted re-entry. Failure to comply may result in eviction. 

 

Accessibility Access 

For patrons with tickets to Mona’s Lounge or the Grandstand, a lift is available in the Match-Day Officials Zone, located between the Grandstand and the AFLNT Office. Access to the lift must be requested through security personnel. 

If you require any assistance, please don’t hesitate to speak with an AFLNT staff member, who will be happy to help guide you to your destination. 

Items 

To ensure the safety and comfort of all patrons, only a limited number of items are permitted inside TIO Traeger Park. 

If you plan to bring your own food, please ensure it is in clear packaging. You may also bring a water bottle, but it must be either empty or sealed and unopened. Any unsealed water bottles will be emptied by security on arrival.  

The following items are strictly prohibited: 

  • Alcohol 

  • Hard eskies 

  • Glass or cans 

  • Cameras and recording devices 

  • Umbrellas or any shade structures 

  • Non-camping chairs 
    collapsable or camping chairs are permitted 

  • Political banners

Transport 

 

Changes to regular traffic conditions will be in place on game day, with congestion expected on Gap Road and Speed Street from approximately 1:00pm onwards. 

 

Parking lanes on Gap Road will be closed, with access to Speed Street one-way traffic.  

 

Parking is limited, AFLNT recommends that all patrons arrive early. Patrons will not be able to park inside TIO Traeger Park on gameday. 

 

Lasseters Park 'n' Ride Service Schedule to and from the Alice Springs Convention Centre. 

 

Services to TIO Traeger Park  

  • 1:00pm – 1:30pm: General Bus Service  

  • 1:30pm – 2:20pm: Corporate Only Service (to Corporate Area) 

  • 2:20pm – 3:00pm: General Bus Service resumes 

 

Services from Traeger Park to Lasseters 

  • 5:30pm – 5:50pm: Corporate Only Return Service (from corporate area) 

  • 6:00pm – 7:30pm: General Return Bus Service (From General Area) 

 

Note: The bus will operate continuously in a loop during each scheduled window. Capacity is approximately 22 passengers per trip. 

 

ATM’s 

Please note there are no ATMs on site. If you wish to pay with cash, ensure you have it ready before entering the venue. 

EFTPOS is available at all food and beverage outlets. Basics Cards can only be used at the Kiosk near the Speed Street Gate. 

Food and Beverage 

Several food and beverage outlets are available within the venue and will be open from 1:15pm 

Thanks to PowerWater you will be able to fill water bottles inside the venue, at the PowerWater refill stations. 

Family Friendly Area 

The Family Friendly Area will be located behind the goals at the Speed Street end of the venue. Please note that there is strictly no smoking/vaping or alcohol in this area. 

 

Bathrooms 

The public access toilet block is located behind the Northern Tennis Court end & Southern Speed Street end behind the goals. 

 

Grandstand guests have access to the toilets on the grandstand level with additional toilets located to the side of the grandstand. 

 
Corporate guests have access to toilets in Territory Club and behind the corporate tents at ground level. 

 

NAB AFL Auskick 

All Halftime NAB AFL Auskick participants are required to meet near the northern end of the TIO CAFL Clubrooms at 3:20pm at the latest. 

 

Anti-Social Behaviour 

If you see anti-social behaviour occurring, please report it immediately.
