AFL Queensland is thrilled to announce an exciting new partnership with TPIL Lawyers, who have secured the naming rights for the Queensland Australian Football League (QAFL) as well the QFAW Division 1 and Division 2 competitions starting this season.
The new partnership will last for four years, through to 2028, and will empower AFL Queensland to further invest in and elevate the premier men’s competition in the state; the QAFL, alongside strengthening the women’s competitions.
Since 1983, TPIL Lawyers has been a trusted legal advisor to the Queensland community, embracing the motto “Queenslanders helping Queenslanders.”
Head of AFL Queensland, Trisha Squires, officially welcomed TPIL Lawyers as a partner and the official naming rights sponsor of the three key flagship competitions today.
“This partnership is a game-changer for AFL Queensland, strengthening the foundation of the QAFL and QFAW leagues and ensuring continued growth, development, and opportunity for our players, coaches, and supporters,” she said.
“We’re excited to work closely with TPIL Lawyers to further elevate the reach and impact of our competitions, and look forward to a bright future ahead.”

The following competitions will now be officially known as the:
• TPIL Lawyers QAFL
• TPIL Lawyers QFAW Division 1
• TPIL Lawyers QFAW Division 2 (North, South, Central, where applicable)
