AFL Northern Territory (AFLNT) is proud to announce the renewal of its partnership with Cazalys Palmerston Club for another three years. Cazalys Palmerston Club has been a strong supporter of football in the Top End, and this renewed agreement will further support the development of pathways, participation and help bring communities together through football at every level.

As part of the partnership, Cazalys Palmerston Club will continue as the naming rights partner of the Cazalys NT Talent Academy for Male and Female Under 16s and Under 18s squads, and as the Premier Partner of the AFLNT Community Football Program - supporting football participation right across the Top End region.

Highlights of the partnership include:

  • In addition to the 100 x training balls that AFLNT provides, Cazalys will provide a further 200 to NTFL clubs each season.

  • Ongoing Club Development Grants, supporting clubs directly through Cazalys.

  • Continued partnership with the Palmerston Golf & Country Club as a Corporate Partner of AFLNT.

  • Exclusive naming rights to Cazalys Arena in Palmerston, with the playing surfaces to be known as Cazalys One and Cazalys Two.

This partnership complements the ongoing support received from Cazalys Palmerston Club as a not-for-profit who supports AFLNT and its Clubs through bi-annual disbursements.

Sam Gibson, Head of AFL Northern Territory, said "Renewing our partnership with Cazalys Palmerston Club for another three years is an exciting step for football in the Top End. Over the past six years, this partnership has delivered real benefits - from growing grassroots participation to developing pathways for emerging talent. It reinforces the strength of our shared vision and ensures we can continue building opportunities for players, clubs, and communities through the game."

Matthew Hewer, General Manager of Cazalys Palmerston Club, said "Our partnership with AFLNT is a great example of our ongoing commitment to the local community. Football plays an important role in life across the Top End, and we’re proud to support the game at every level.”

This renewed partnership sets the stage for another exciting chapter of football in the Top End, with programs, pathways, and community initiatives rolling out in the 2025/26 season and beyond.
