The 2025 Marsh AFL National Academy Boys squad will again represent Australia this weekend when they take on VFL outfit Coburg at Mission Whitten Oval on Sunday.
It will be the second time in a fortnight the Academy will play as the Australia U18 team, following a clash with Richmond’s VFL team at RSEA Park two weeks ago.
The Marsh AFL National Academy features a host of the most talented young footballers from across Australia, who are taking part in the program during their Draft year.
The National Academy is a holistic football and personal development program, providing the next generation of stars with valuable experiences, insights and opportunities to best prepare them for the next steps in their football journey.
The Marsh AFL National Academy Boys squad will come together in Melbourne this weekend for the third and final camp of the 2025 program.
It follows an induction camp that was held last December and the second camp which was held in Melbourne two weeks ago prior to the game against Richmond’s VFL team.
The Academy squad will feature in a range of high-performance, wellbeing, education and team bonding sessions throughout this weekend’s three-day camp.
Players will train at Port Melbourne’s ETU Stadium on Friday and Collingwood’s AIA Vitality Centre on Saturday morning in preparation for Sunday’s match at Mission Whitten Oval.
