ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Length will vary depending on your program and location. Generally, most programs will run for one day 9:00am – 3:00pm.

AFL staff facilitate and run the program. All staff hold Working With Children checks. There will also be a First Aid-trained staff member and First aid kit available at the program with basic first aid supplies.

There is no set uniform for holiday programs, just ensure your child is comfortable to be able to participate in all activities. We recommend sports clothing and either runners or footy boots. Many participants choose to wear their AFL team’s colours and jumpers.

A packed snack and lunch, children are not permitted to bring any foods that contain nuts or traces of nuts.

Children must have a hat and applied sunscreen pre-arrival. If you would like your child to reapply sunscreen throughout the day, please pack a labelled sunscreen tube that can be kept on their person or hand it to an AFL staff member pre-session.

In some cases where our staff deem it unsafe holiday programs will not run. Staff will endeavour to provide this information prior to the session if practically possible.

Please allow time to sign in on your arrival to your respective program.  Should you have any questions, please speak to any of the AFL staff members present.
