The 2026 QFA Division 1 HART Sport Cup fixture has been released, with the race for this year's premiership officially getting underway on Saturday April 11.

2026 will again feature the seven clubs, with the 16 round season culminating in a finals series beginning August 29 with the Grand Final set for September 12.

Round 1 will feature a 2025 Grand Final rematch, with the reigning premiers Mayne hosting Springwood at home. Following a Grand Final win for the ages, Mayne will no doubt start the season as the side to beat again as they set their eyes on a Division 1 three-peat.

Sir Doug Nicholls Round will again be a highlight of the season, spread across the weekends of the 16th and 23rd May, whilst Pride Round will be celebrated across the 18th and 25th of July.

Significant change has occurred right across the competition in the coaching departments, with five of the seven clubs introducing new head coaches this season. Todd Reid will take the helm at Springwood, Hayden Jeffrey leading Moreton Bay, Adam Holland takes the reins at Sandgate while on the Sunshine Coast Luke Henderson will coach Caloundra and Hinterland has appointed Jordan Daniel.

AFL Queensland Competitions Manager Mitchell Simpson said he was anticipating another competitive season.

"The HART Sport Cup continues to be one of our most exciting and even competitions across the state, and I look forward to it producing another outstanding season of Australian rules football," he said.

"With plenty of movement both across the playing and coaching ranks, it will be interesting to see how all sides line up come Round 1 and we're anticipating a wide-open race to decide the top four this year".
