Allied, a longtime supporter of senior men’s and boys Australian rules football competitions across Mackay and Darling Downs, will continue their partnership into 2028, after signing a new three-year extension.

This partnership has proudly spanned more than a decade and in 2026, Allied will remain the exclusive naming rights sponsor of the AFL Darling Downs Allied Cup – Senior Men, AFL Darling Downs Allied Cup – U17.5 Boys and the AFL Mackay Senior Men’s Allied Cup competitions.

Kieran Daley, AFL Queensland’s Participation and Operations Manager, thanked Allied for their continued support of senior mens and boys regional competitions.

“We are thrilled to have Allied continue their long, loyal support of our regional senior mens and boys competitions,” he said.

“Their name is synonymous with community Australian rules football in the Mackay and Darling Downs’ regions and we are excited to continue this important partnership.”

Brendan Fowles, Allied’s Assistant General Manager, said they were looking forward to extending this strong partnership.

“It has been a pleasure to support the Mackay and Darling Downs men’s and youth competitions for 20 years, and we’re proud to continue backing community football in these regions,” he said.

“We look forward to seeing the AlliedCup continue through to 2028 and to supporting the game and the communities behind it for years to come.”

Both the AFL Darling Downs and AFL Mackay seasons are already underway.
