Finals fever has gripped Brisbane these school holidays, following the Brisbane Lions reaching their fourth consecutive Toyota AFL Grand Final.
All fans, rusted on and those jumping on the bandwagon, are invited to join in the festivities at Brighton Homes Arena, Post Office Square and Felons Brewing Co all week.
There will be a wide array of fun, family-friendly activities for everyone, including:
- Watching the Brisbane Lions have their final training session at Brighton Homes Arena before departing for Melbourne.
- School holiday programs at locations all across Queensland.
- AFL Play inflatable handball targets.
- Brisbane Lions merchandise stall, prizes and giveaways.
- Photo opportunities with Brisbane Lions' mascot Roy and some of their historic Premiership Cups.
- Watching Channel Seven and 7plus' coverage, live and free, of the 2026 Toyota AFL Grand Final on the big screen at Felons Brewing Co at Howard Smith Wharves.
Head of AFL Queensland Richie Lyons congratulated the Lions on a fourth straight Grand Final appearance.
"We congratulate the Lions on chasing their second three-peat after their thrilling win over the Hawks yesterday," he said.
"Finals fever has well and truly gripped the city of Brisbane these school holidays and it's the perfect opportunity whether you are a new or established fan, to connect with our great game.
"We have fun, affordable school holiday programs for children all across the state and if you're in the city, we will be hosting free AFL Play activations and giveaways at Post Office Square from Wednesday.
"Then for the 2026 Toyota AFL Grand Final on Saturday, there will be a watch party for family and friends at Felons on Howard Smith Wharves, with plenty of activities and prizes to be won."
The Brisbane Lions will play Fremantle in the 2026 Toyota AFL Grand Final on Saturday 26 September at 2:30pm at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
