New signings across the TPIL Lawyers QAFL and Bond University QAFLW continue to roll in, with several clubs announcing their newest recruits.

Labrador have signed Greg Lord, a half-back/midfielder who had a strong 2025 season at Montrose in Division 1 of the Eastern Football Netball League, claiming runner up in the club’s Best and Fairest, and in the top 10 of the league. 

He will be joined by Lachlan Taylor who will don the yellow and black in 2026 coming fresh off a Best and Fairest season with the Geelong West Giants. 

Another new Tiger is none other than Liam Odea, another Best and Fairest winner in AFL Cairns, winning the Crathern Medal in 2025 while playing at Central Trinity Beach. 

The Roos welcome Riley O’Keefe from Sebastopol Football Netball Club competing in the Ballarat Football League.

Alongside him is Hunter Nairn, a fresh 19-year-old from Ballarat Swans as well as Julian Sewell from the Univeristy Hawks in Townsville.

For the women, the Roos warmly welcome Jenna Burke from the Ballarat region, having previously played with Vic Country and the GWV Rebels.

Moreton Bay have recruited a Emmalee Gouldsbrough who has played the last two seasons with the Moranbah Bulldogs in the Mackay League as well as Grace Tucker who returns to the Lions after the past few years in the CrossFit world.

The Morningside QAFLW team have been busy recruiting in their off-season, with new players in Emma Humphries, Indiana Williams, Katie Day, Coco Garton, Ally Lappin, Sophie Balcombe, Raffael Baviello, Pamela Amber, Hannah McLaughlin, Renee Taylor and Nakita Irvine.

Liam Jones will pull on the Lions colours in 2026 coming from a recent VFL Premiership with the Western Bulldogs.
 
Sherwood welcome Harrison Newitt from the Beaufort Crows in the Central Highlands League where he was awarded the league’s Best and Fairest mid-season before an injury put a pause on his season.

He will be joined by Harrison Steel from 2025 Premiers, the Brigades Hawks in Geraldton. 

Oakley Wallace, former Cairns Saints Captain and former QLD representative will also join the Magpies this season. 

Southport, this year, welcome Kiara Hillier, from the Sydney Swans, Gabby Dalton from Surfers Paradise and Jekaya Lam, also from the Demons. 

They are joined by more fellow recruits in Wallis Randell from the Gold Coast SUNS, Sienna Clinch from Broadbeach and Kaylea Kobzan from Lavington. 

More new Sharks are Giselle Davies from the Sydney Swans, Zali Pullinger from Surfers Paradise and Bonnie Brown from Southern Districts.
