Toowoomba Toyota has extended their sponsorship of AFL Darling Downs women and girls’ competitions for a further three years.

Toowoomba Toyota will remain the naming rights sponsor of the senior women's and Under 17 girls’ competitions in the Darling Downs until at least the conclusion of the 2028 season.

The 2026 season will be the fourth year of the partnership, demonstrating Toowoomba Toyota’s ongoing commitment to providing pathways and opportunities for women and girls to participate in Australian rules football in the Darling Downs region.

Kieran Daley, AFL Queensland’s Participation and Operations Manager, thanked Toowoomba Toyota for their ongoing support.

“Toowoomba Toyota have long supported women and girls’ Australian rules football in the Darling Downs region,” he said.

“We thank Toowoomba Toyota for their support and look forward to another season of epic games and fierce rivalries.”

Brett Motton, Dealer Principal at Toowoomba Toyota said the company was proud to continue their long-standing support of women and girls’ football across the Darling Downs.

“We’ve seen these competitions grow in strength, skill, and community impact over the years, and we’re committed to helping create even more opportunities for female athletes to thrive.

“We’re excited for the season ahead and look forward to celebrating the achievements of players, clubs, and volunteers right across the region.”
