To celebrate NAIDOC Week (Sunday 6 to Sunday 13 July), AFL Victoria is proud to host a stall at the 2025 NAIDOC in the City event at Fed Square on Friday afternoon.

Falling within the first week of the Victorian school holidays, families are encouraged to come along and explore the FREE celebration of music, culture, and community as Fed Square comes alive in honour of NAIDOC Week.

This year’s NAIDOC theme, The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy, is a powerful reflection on the achievements of the past and the promise of the future.

AFL Victoria will be set up near the Koori Heritage Trust (KHT) from 1pm until 4pm with activities for kids to win prizes including a custom Indigenous designed footy, along with AFL and AFLW player appearances.

In addition to the footy excitement, families can explore the vibrant KHT NAIDOC Week Market featuring over 20 First Peoples stallholders with art, craft, design, fashion, jewellery and more. Alongside the market, KHT will host a variety of free workshops and activities for all ages, as well as a welcoming Elders Lounge and quiet space.

Everyone is welcome, with kids’ activities, delicious food trucks and stalls, and much more – all kicking off from 1pm.
