Now a Life Member of the Collingwood Football Club, Scott Pendlebury has donned the black and white stripes since his first game as a little boy for the Sale Magpies in the Gippsland League.

Two decades on from his AFL debut, Pendlebury is arguably the greatest player Collingwood has ever seen.

From local footy at Sale, through to a TAC Cup premiership (now known as the Coates Talent League) for Gippsland Power, Pendlebury is the pride of his local community.

He holds multiple games records at Collingwood, for most games played and most games as captain. His resume is exceptional, two premierships (2010, 2018), a norm smith medal (2010), two-time AFLPA Best Captain (2020, 2022), six-time all Australian and currently sitting fourth in the all-time VFL/AFL games record list, with the potential to move into third place early in the 2025 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.

Scott Pendlebury's ability to perform at such a high level for 21 seasons is no small feat, and sports journalist Mark 'Howie' Howard was joined by Pendlebury for a special pre-season project, to uncover the preparation behind a remarkable career in an eight-part series, Pendlebury: Beyond 400.

In Pendlebury: Beyond 400, Pendlebury opens up like never before, sharing intimate and personal audio diaries as he navigates his pre-season training for his 21st AFL season. In bite-sized episodes, listeners will hear Pendlebury’s reflections, triumphs, and sacrifices behind the scenes in preparation for the 2025 season.
