AFL Victoria is encouraging all Victorians involved in a community football club to enter the CDS Victoria Win a Million Cents competition this month.
With the community football season well underway across the state, now is the perfect time to set up CDS Vic collection bins or bags at match days and club functions.
CDS Vic’s Win a Million Cents competition returned on May 4, with five individual $10,000 cash prizes to be won.
Simply return 50 or more eligible containers in a single transaction at a CDS Vic refund point by Sunday 14 June, and complete the entry form with proof of donation at winamillioncents.com.au before the deadline.
At the time of your donation, you can choose to keep the funds or donate them to a registered donation partner, meaning you can continue to raise funds for your club whilst also entering the competition.
The competition is open to individual entries only, so clubs are encouraged nominate one person as their designated donation leader, to share the funds with their club should they win, or hold their own leaderboard of who can submit the most entries before the end date.
In addition to the five cash prizes, one winner will also be selected to donate $10,000 directly to a registered CDS Vic donation partner of their choosing, meaning your club could receive up to $20,000 in total from an individual winner plus the bonus prize.
There’s no limit on the number of entries, the more you return, the better your chances.
