AFL Queensland Launches the ‘Four Quarter Challenge’ to Celebrate and Support Community Umpires

Umpires across Queensland now have even more reason to get involved and stay engaged, with AFL Queensland officially launching the Four Quarter Challenge — a season-long initiative designed to reward commitment, connection and contribution to the game.

Open to all registered umpires, the Four Quarter Challenge encourages participants to earn points through weekly engagement, with points tallied both individually and by region. Leaderboards will be updated throughout the season, creating a fun and rewarding competition across the state.

Umpire4Fun for SEQJ Finals – Goal Umpire Program (NEW)

Our SEQ Umpire4Fun umpires are invited to express their interest in learning to goal umpire in order to be appointed to goal umpire during SEQJ finals. This is a great opportunity for our Umpire4Fun umpires to get involved in umpiring finals, as their Junior competition doesn’t have any finals for them to field umpire. Online and on-field training sessions are provided at various locations across SEQ. Complete the EOI here.
