Competitions

The Queensland Australian Football League (QAFL) is the premier men's football competition in the state, comprised of 13 clubs across the Southeast Queensland corner.

The Bond University Queensland Australian Football League - Women's (QAFLW) is the premier women's football competition in the state, comprised of 10 clubs across the Southeast Queensland corner.

The Bond University QAFLW has become one of the key women's Australian rules football leagues in Australia, consistently nurturing AFLW stars and serving as a key pathway for female talent, both players and officials, in Queensland.

The QFA is the largest Australian rules football league in Queensland, with community clubs from across Southeast Queensland; as far north as Gympie and south to Ballina in northern New South Wales.

It features men's (QFA) and women's (QFAW) competitions including seniors and reserves, with some leagues divided into North and South sub-divisions to account for the huge geographical spread.

All QFA and QFAW fixtures, ladders and results can be found on PlayHQ.

The Maccas SEQ Juniors is one of the biggest sporting competitions in the country with more than 16,000 participants from community footy clubs across Southeast Queensland.

AFL Queensland is committed to providing competitions for junior and youth participants that facilitate skill development, positive environments and fun engaging experiences.

The APM South East Queensland Inclusion League is coordinated by AFL Queensland in partnership with three community clubs Carrara, Moorooka and Noosa. The League has been established for men and women who identify living with disability, 16 years and over.

Beenleigh, Morningside, Ormeau and Redcliffe were the foundation clubs in the inaugural Queensland Wheelchair Football League.

Players from QWFL are drafted to the Brisbane Lions or Gold Coast SUNS and play in a two-match QClash Series before selection into the Queensland squad to compete at the Toyota National Wheelchair AFL Championship, which gives the country’s top players an opportunity to represent their state or territory.
