Redland Victoria Point's Craig Malone and University of Queensland's Luka Yoshida-Martin have claimed the 81st J.A. Grogan Medal and 2026 Emma Zielke Medal.

Held at The Gabba, the J.A Grogan and Emma Zielke Medal night celebrated the outstanding achievements of the players, coaches and umpires across the TPIL Lawyers QAFL and Bond University QAFLW competitions in 2026.

Malone, a ruckman, claimed the 81st J.A. Grogan Medal, capping off a brilliant season at the heart of Redland Victoria Point's midfield.

Regularly polling throughout the season, Malone climbed to equal top of the leaderboard after Round 15 and continued to impress with his ruck craft, contested work and ability to impact games around the ground before securing the competition’s top honour. Palm Beach Currumbin's Tom Simpson did finish on top of the leaderboard with 25 votes but was ineligible to win the 2026 J.A Grogan Medal due to suspension.

University of Queensland midfielder Luka Yoshida-Martin was named the 2026 Emma Zielke Medallist following an outstanding and remarkably consistent campaign.

The former Brisbane Lion, Yoshida-Martin has established herself as one of the competition's most influential midfielders through her ability to win contested football, generate forward momentum and perform in big moments.

The evening also recognised the performances of several emerging stars and standout contributors across the competitions, with Noosa's Rory McKenzie named the TPIL Lawyers QAFL Rising Star and Aspley's Monique Corrigan the Bond University QAFLW Rising Star.

The Syd Guildford Trophy went to Palm Beach Currumbin's Tom Simpson as TPIL Lawyers QAFL Coaches Most Valuable Player, while Aspley's Ella Smith claimed the Bond University QAFLW Coaches Most Valuable Player award.
