UMPIRE4FUN

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The Umpire4Fun Program runs from March to August. Participants join their local club as club umpires and officiate junior fixture games at their home venue.

Watch a day in the life of an Umpire4Fun Umpire!

UMPIRE4FUN

The Umpire4Fun program was created to develop and nurture umpires at the grassroots level across community clubs in Queensland. It is aimed at participants 12 years and older, to get involved in umpiring.

The program focuses on learning the fundamental skills of umpiring and developing knowledge of the game.

AFL Queensland Umpiring Department offers the opportunity for our Umpire4Fun participants to learn how to Goal Umpire and be part of the SEQ Youth Finals series through Goal Umpiring. This program is a great opportunity for Umpires to learn a new umpiring discipline and get involved in the SEQ Youth Finals series across South East Queensland in August! Learn more here.
