Do you know a Victorian farmer who works hard, looks out for others and backs their local footy and netball club like no other?

WorkSafe Victoria, in collaboration with AFL Victoria and Netball Victoria, are on the hunt for ”Footy’s Favourite Farmer” 2026 - with a prize pool of over $20,000 up for grabs!

To nominate someone in your community or find out more, head to footysfavouritefarmer.com.au!

Last year's winner was Orbost dairy farmer and football netball club president Royston 'Doc' Nettleton. As Footy’s Favourite Farmer, the 500-game legend won $10,000 worth of safety improvements tailored to his business, and a further $10,000 to spend on safety upgrades for the Orbost Snowy Rovers Football Netball Club, where he has been president since 2012.

Working safe is a team sport – and WorkSafe want to give a shout-out to the farmers who live by that every day.

Nominate a legend in your community and you could score prizes for your club. Entries close Friday 31st July 2026.

Prizes include:
