AFL Victoria is proud to celebrate another year of disability inclusion footy across the Victorian Wheelchair Football League (VWFL), Victorian Blind Football League (VBFL), Wheelchair NAB AFL Auskick, at an awards night held at Marvel Stadium on Monday night.
It has been a fantastic season across all leagues, particularly for St Kilda FC. In the VWFL, St Kilda took out the Championship Division Premiership, scoring 17.7 (109) to defeat Richmond 10.6 (66) by 43 points, whilst in the VBFL, St Kilda (92) defeat Hawthorn (83).
In the VWFL Community Division, Essendon won its inaugural title with a score of 11.6 (72) defeating Richmond 6.6 (42).
Congratulations to all involved across the leagues in 2025.
Wheelchair NAB AFL Auskick
AFL Victoria was proud to partner with a leader in the disability inclusion space, in the Freedom Sports Foundation to assist in delivering the Victorian Wheelchair NAB AFL Auskick program. In a first the Auskick program, the 2025 season was run by victorian Wheelchair Football League players this year, including Chris Henderson, Will Taylor, Yasmina McGlone, Hayden Auber, Adam Georgelin and Mark Titford.
Participants who attended on Monday night received a medal congratulating them on their participation this season.
